I began photographing families, captivated by the quiet ways love shows up between people and weddings felt like a natural extension of that work.
At their core, they’re family stories too.
On a wedding day, those stories unfold in small, powerful ways: a hand on your shoulder before walking down the aisle, a shared glance across a crowded room, the people who raised you standing beside the person you’re choosing. I’m drawn to these moments because they hold the heart of the day from the relationships, history, and emotions that brings everyone together.
I’m a visual storyteller drawn to real connection and lived-in moments.
My perspective is shaped by the love I experience in my own life: in my partnership with my husband, my closeness with family, my friendships, and in the couples who trust me to document their celebrations. I approach each wedding with presence and care, creating photographs that feel both artful and honest. Images that reflect not just how your day looked, but how it truly felt.
When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll find me exploring new coffee shops, going on brewery dates with my husband, catching live music, enjoying spa days with my childhood best friends, or camping under the stars.
Growing up in the Bay Area taught me to appreciate culture through food, family gatherings, and community celebrations. That curiosity shapes how I work. I take the time to understand your story, honor your heritage and what matters most to you, and document your day with intention, artistry, and presence.
"Everyone told us how in love we looked on our wedding day and for first the time, from the outside perspective, thanks to Michelle, I was able to see what everyone else had seen. I had never seen pictures of myself and thought “wow I look so beautiful”, but I truly did feel so gorgeous. Her presence, energy and heart really lets people shine and be themselves which is where pictures get their beauty."
